taken by me for Week 1: Self Portrait (2020)"
Featured Framer

Meet Francoise.

Francoise, a six-time weekly warrior, captures not only the scene in front of her but allows the entire frame to take shape in her own unique creative ways, from warping to blurring to ICM, and beyond. Francoise doesn’t seem to use the same method twice but is constantly redefining her creative muscle. I especially like her top-down viewpoints of her street corner but there is incredible creative story in every frame. This week marks Francoise’ 338th photo in the project!

Your life in 30 words or less

I’ve always loved photography. Even before digital cameras, I already had a Nikon FM. Since 2016, I’ve decided to take more and more photos that capture the moments of my life and my interests (children, architecture, travel…). I think my photography reflects my inner state.

Can you share 2 images, one from your past, and one more recent, that show your evolution as a photographer?

I love this photo I took with my husband, who often models for me. It was a lot of fun to take. I also learned a lot about Photoshop.

One tip you’d like to share?

Take photos even if you’re stuck at home—there are always plenty of amazing things to capture

Why is 52Frames meaningful to you?

52Frames is important to me because I stay in touch with many framers thanks to the small groups we’ve formed over the past six years. I enjoy revisiting certain challenges—it forces me to come up with new ideas—and I love the sense of community we share. ans sorry for my bad english!!!
