Meet Aistė.

Looking through Aistė’s submissions, I’m really touched by her beautiful environmental portraiture—often featuring her own girls as subjects. Whether it’s capturing the magical glow of golden hour or the enchanting quiet of a winter wonderland, she consistently delivers professional-grade storytelling. But Aistė doesn’t rest on her laurels; she’s constantly experimenting with lighting setups and Photoshop composites, a true testament to her desire to always grow creatively. This week marks Aistė’s 175th frame in the project!

Your life in 30 words or less

I am a photographer who loves capturing moments and human emotions. Through my lens, I see the beauty of the world, and creativity is my way of speaking without words. I value family, nature and authenticity in life

Can you share 2 images, one from your past, and one more recent, that show your evolution as a photographer?

What has been your favorite style of shooting lately?

I was inspired to start delving into the art of photography by children. First, like most photographers, I started with nature photography, then I realized that I love photographing children and working with them. Although working with children requires a lot of effort, their emotions are real and unadulterated, which is why I like it. Now I am especially interested in the Fine Art style, I like creating fabulous stories

How did you find out about 52Frames?

I don’t remember exactly, but I think it was from Facebook social photography groups.

What submission are you most proud of and why?

Week 36: Golden Hour (2022)
Week 36: Golden Hour (2022)

Maybe it’s not the most amazing photo, but it was the first photo that was selected by “Whittling Committee” and/or “Guest Picker” and was included in a smaller, curated album called “52 Picks”. This is my daughter. She’s my most loyal model, but there are days when it’s hard to get along. This time I promised pizza:), because the evening was wonderful and sunny although it was cold, but she did not want to be a model that day, but mother (me) wanted to catch the golden hour :)))) so in the end both were happy:)

One tip you’d like to share?

May every moment be worth remembering. A photograph is not just an image – it’s an emotion that lives on forever…

Why is 52Frames meaningful to you?

It gives me a regular, creative rhythm – helping me stay inspired and continually grow as a photographer. It’s a challenge to myself – to prove that I can create every week, even when I lack time or motivation. These commitments build perseverance. 52 challenges per year = 52 opportunities to step out of my comfort zone and try new techniques, genres, or ideas.
