The one thing that immediately comes off the page of Bobbi’s work is COLOR. Bobbi’s photos are a splash of life, of energy, of fun. Not taking things too seriously, the closer you look the clearer it becomes that Bobbi’s got incredible skills – wide angles, astro, long shutters, an incredibly diverse work of art. This week marks Bobbi’s 224th frame!

Your life in 30 words or less
I truly love being able to capture memories of those around me. I love seeing their faces and enjoying their excitement when they view the photos.
Can you share 2 images, one from your past, and one more recent, that show your evolution as a photographer?

What has been your favorite style of shooting lately?
I love a lot of different styles that I would not have even thought of attempting without being a part of 52frames. But I always go back to portrait photography. I continue to want to capture my children but I also have a goddaughter now and I truly love that I am able to capture moments of her life with more skill now then I had when my children were little.
What was the first photo you ever submitted to 52Frames?

How did you find out about 52Frames?
I found it through a google search as I wanted to learn more about my camera.
What submission are you most proud of and why?

I am proud of this photo because night photography was initially a bit tough for me. My photos were always grainy and just not the right settings to capture the night sky. But as I became more accustomed to my settings and more comfortable with my camera I was able to understand how best to capture the Milky Way. I was so excited when the timing of a new moon coincided with our time near a dark location. This was so much fun to take and I am looking forward to more opportunities to do night photography.
One tip you’d like to share?
I just want to remind everyone that some weeks will be tough you will have no idea what to do. But keep your head up and do your best. It will make you a better photographer in the end.
Why is 52Frames meaningful to you?
52frames has brought me so much joy. I cannot tell you how excited I am to capture photos each week and edit them. My husband loves to tag along and watch me in the zone as I determine best angles and locations. I have learned a lot about myself and learned so much about photography in the past 5 years.
