Become a better photographer
Week 1: Self Portrait (2025)
Featured Framer

Meet Agnė.

Sometimes you come across an artist’s work and you must simply stop and take it all in. Agnė’s photos are each a marvel onto its own. You are immersed in each frame, each story, each detail. Often highlighting ONE clear subject that jumps off the page, Agnė has a wide set of skills she uses, and each photo is more impressive than the next! A 5x Weekly Warrior, this week marks Agnė’s 322nd frame!

Your life in 30 words or less

Pharmacist in the daytime, a photographer in my free time, enjoying life all the time. Photography is therapy for me, I adore landscapes and experimenting with light and I melt in night photography.

Can you share 2 images, one from your past, and one more recent, that show your evolution as a photographer?

What has been your favorite style of shooting lately?

I absolutely admire night photography, night sky, landscapes, more often experimenting with lights. Last year I missed week 43 accidentally and it was so painful for me after 4 years in a row so I promised myself to put in even more effort, more often asking my friends and kids to be my model for the week challenge. Usually capturing everyday life, details, like colors and still looking for my own style.

What was the first photo you ever submitted to 52Frames?

How did you find out about 52Frames?

As I recall correctly Edita suggested participating in this challenge and I was one of our Lithuanian photographers community in Siauliai who joined 52Frames

What submission are you most proud of and why?

Week 15: Different angle (2020)
Week 15: Different Angle (2020)

I was pregnant and the day of delivery was fast approaching, all I could think about for that week was lying in bed because it was too difficult to do anything. I thought the shot through and through and it was the one and only shot I got in the top 52 that week.

One tip you’d like to share?

There is always a story behind every picture. Do not hesitate to tell the story and one more thing… keep trying, practice is the best way to success.

Why is 52Frames meaningful to you?

If it wasn’t for 52Frames I wouldn’t shoot so much every week, sometimes more sometimes less, this challenge is a great kick in the ass for me to shoot more, experiment, and improve. Thanks to this challenge, we also created a virtual Lithuanian 52Frames community, where we encourage each other, help when choosing photos, and enjoy each other’s achievements. I am happy to be a small part of 52Frames!
