What has been your favorite style of shooting lately?

I am in love with what I call “Documentart”. I love to set up scenes, dig into my “tickle trunk” for props and then shoot what I hope are for the most part humorous depictions of everyday life. I am forever on the look out for willing ‘victims’ …. errr, models!

What was the first photo you ever submitted to 52Frames?

How did you find out about 52Frames?

Some friends in another photo group suggested I join 52 Frames in 2019 and I have not missed a week since.

What submission are you most proud of and why?

I was thrilled that I was able to capture the movement of the water and the movement of the umbrella at the same time. I also love the colour tones in this photograph.

One tip you’d like to share?

Have fun! Try everything! Practice, practice, practice! Take a picture every single day.

Why is 52Frames meaningful to you?

It holds me accountable! I love to try photographing different subject matters and different techniques while at the same time maintaining my own unique style. I really enjoy viewing how everyone interprets the prompts and executes their art.
