The first thing that comes to mind when looking at Isaac’s photos are “larger than life”. From extreme wide angles, vistas, and drone photography, to blurred movement, illusions, and close-up details. Every photo has a pattern. Every photo has an intention. There’s a whole lot of story in each frame. Isaac’s photos are a real treat to follow each week. This week marks Isaac’s 519th frame, a 9x Weekly Warrior!

Your life in 30 words or less
Despite being very much of a science person, I have always enjoyed challenging my creative side. After 25 years as ENT surgeon, I appreciate something that is different and creative every single time.
Can you share 2 images, one from your past, and one more recent, that show your evolution as a photographer?

What has been your favorite style of shooting lately?
I have always been a landscape and travel photographer. I admire the beauty of nature as well as the grandeur of many man-made structures. Plus, I don’t regularly have too many willing subjects who would submit to participate for portrait or other human photography. But lately I have found some ways of experimenting with human and fashion photography, many of them blended into my signature landscape and travel photos. I do have to say that I have surprised myself to discover a new side of me.
What was the first photo you ever submitted to 52Frames?

How did you find out about 52Frames?
I come from a long line of photographers. I had always dabbled with photography without any formal training. In 2015 a friend of mine introduced me to 52F. I immediately loved the concept of weekly challenges and all the new lessons I have learned.
What submission are you most proud of and why?

I love my talented uncle so much 🤍
Wow, incredibly complex, beautiful images! I’m so impressed! I haven’t gotten anywhere near knowing how to layer images like that… one step at a time!
I’ve always been impressed with your photos and now I know why: your attitude of keeping it fresh and alive as you go about life.
