What has been your favorite style of shooting lately?

I think a mix of portrait and lifestyle….the most important for me is to document and record everyday memories so I shoot a lot around our day-to-day and current hobbies or activities.
I always like to include a human element in my photos.

What was the first photo you ever submitted to 52Frames?

How did you find out about 52Frames?

Late 2017 I was looking for a challenge that would give me weekly themes to focus on. I don’t actually remember where I saw the reference to 52Frames, and I thought it was worth the try. I never thought it would become such an important project for me.

What submission are you most proud of and why?

Week 17: One Light Source (2023)
Week 17: One Light Source (2023)

Maybe this one, because it was a really close cooperation with my son, as he had the idea of the pose and including the cat, and it was really cool to share the creative process with him from the beginning till the end.
It turned out much better than I thought and I’m really proud when I look at it!

One tip you’d like to share?

Keep shooting what you love and don’t compare yourself to others.

Why is 52Frames meaningful to you?

The opportunity of documenting my kid’s childhood much more creatively than I would if I didn’t have the weekly prompts. And that they grow wanting to be part of the process and understanding the importance of keeping memories (so they continue to be willing models, ahah!).

Having a chance to develop my creativity and look at things differently each week. So many shots I would have never taken if it wasn’t for 52F. Making me learn new techniques and try things I would never try otherwise.

Being part of this amazing community, with such great photographers and how friendly everyone is. The friends I made along the way and in my mini-groups – I don’t have many photographers friends in “real life” so it’s great to have people to talk about it.

The learning…from reading the newsletter, seeing and studying other’s photos, giving and receiving feedback. Incorporating “embrace imperfection” in my life, not only photography.

Thank you Yosef and all the 52F team!
